What Does the Foundation Level Certification Provide?

The ITIL V3 Foundation course provides a general overview of the IT Service Management Lifecycle, its supporting processes, functions and roles and the key concepts of an integrated IT Service Management framework. Foundation certification enables the ITIL candidate to enroll in the intermediate courses and advance to the ITIL® Expert level.

Successful completion of the Foundation level is not intended to enable the certificate holder to apply ITIL concepts without further intermediate training. Intermediate coursework is comprised of the following certification series: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operations, Continual Service Improvement, culminating in the advanced course, Managing Across Lifecycle certification to achieve ITIL® Expert status.

Course Duration

The ITIL V3 Foundation Certificate course is normally a 3-day course. ANTS/ZAI innovative training methods coupled with eLearning option covers enough ground to abridge the course to 2-days.
 

Learning ITIL V3 Foundation Concepts

ANTS/ZAI employs a combination of instructor-led class room and e-learning systems to facilitate learning. Student will receive unique interactive, game-oriented instruction during the two-day training. ANTS/ZAI teaching techniques are designed to have a deep-rooted effect on the student’s memory obviating the need to memorize concepts and principles that are quickly forgotten after the exam. ITIL V3 Foundation Exam Preparation

At the end of the first day, students will receive a special exam preparation tool for home self-study to prepare for the exam. The third day the instructor and students will cover final ground and collectively review to ensure that each student is adequately prepared for the exam.
 

ITIL V3 Foundation Exam

At the end of the third day students will be administered a one-hour proctored ITIL V3 Foundation exam.
